ROCK HAVEN NEEDS YOUR HELP

Rock Haven has a long history of serving this community along side likeminded Christian volunteers. We continue that tradition today with several jobs listed below. We have a wide range of needs that you may be perfect for. We strive not to be a stumbling block to any youth. Our primary purpose is to share the Gospel and to limit the distractions that might incur. Therefore we ask all staff to fill out an application, submit to a background check and adhere to the following rules:

Alcohol/Recreational Drug Use: No alcoholic beverages, tobacco, vape products, or dangerous drugs are allowed.

Piercings: Females may wear earrings in their ear. If males have ear piercings, they are required to wear clear or flesh-colored earrings/ plugs . We ask that all other body piercings be removed while working at camp.

Tattoos: Rock Haven recognizes that tattoos are now more common in society. Some may be more offensive than others. We ask that when possible, those be covered. If you are unsure about your personal tattoos, please ask the camp director if you should consider covering them.

Vehicles: If you bring your vehicle, please park and lock it. No driving during camp, unless there is an emergency or appointment that could not be changed. Please speak with the camp director ahead of time if there are appointments that you must attend during your scheduled camp.

Curfew: If you are staying on campus over the weekend, we ask that you be back on camp property no later than midnight Friday or Saturday nights.

Dress code: Rock Haven does provide one staff shirt to be worn on the Monday morning when camp begins for summer staff. We ask that each person who works at Rock Haven Bible Camp to dress modestly and keep the dress code below in mind.

  • No short shorts. Shorts must extend to the fingertips.

  • No spaghetti strap shorts or deep-cut tank tops

  • No tights/leggings or bike shorts.

  • No bikinis or speedos

  • We ask that no clothing have any offensive language, offensive signs, or offensive patches. If you think it is questionable, then please do not wear or bring that item to camp.
